Zero VFX is seeking a Post Producer to join our Boston-based Commercial Production team.

Our Boston office is a hybrid location with employees in-office at least 1 day per week. Client needs may require additional in-office days. Remote candidates may be considered but preference is for candidates local to Massachusetts.

As a Post Producer, you will be responsible for the daily management of projects from receipt of dailies through delivery, including scheduling the project team, assigning tasks, adhering to budget and timelines and maintaining constant contact with client.

Candidates must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. A positive attitude, great work ethic, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment are key.

Primary Responsibilities:

·      Advocate for the most creative solutions within timeline and budget

·      QC all project deliverables and ensure they meet technical broadcast or digital distribution standards

·      Work with third party vendors in all aspects of production including but not limited to filming, editorial, color and music

·      Handle final file delivery and archiving.

·      Foster client relationships and have presence in ad community

·      Determine the project risk on an ongoing basis and escalate issues as needed

·      Monitor out-of-scope requests and initiate additional estimates and approvals

·      Attend in-person sessions when required and assist with client service

 

Skills & Requirements:

·      Understanding of post-production workflows for both offline and VFX is required

·      Proficiency in broadcast technical delivery specifications

·      Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and communication skills to navigate tight deadlines and creative revisions

·      Experience bidding offline and VFX a plus but not required

·      Four-year degree is preferred

·      3-5 years post-production, agency or industry related experience required.

While we aim to manage projects within standard business hours, occasional late nights and/or weekend work may sometimes be required.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $85,000 to $115,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
